We are all aware of the fact that actor Suriya, whenever he feels is important to raise his voice against an issue, will do so, unapologetically. The same happened when a new education policy was proposed. Suriya, being the founder of Agaram Foundation, on behalf of the students, did not shy away from raising a few important questions regarding the same, especially about burdening the children with the imposition of three language formula. He also added that the government should first ensure that equal education is provided to all.

And now, following Kamal Haasan, renowned director cum Vijay's father, SA Chandrasekhar extended his support to Suriya and cited publicly,

"This country denies its citizens to exercise the freedom of speech and the same has happened with Suriya. However, stances like this should be valued and vocalized by all of us!".
