Did Sai Pallavi intend to do this?

The Premam girl Sai Pallavi will have her first direct Tamil movie Karu, releasing on Feb 9.
Karu is directed by AL Vijay and is produced by Lyca Productions. Contrary to the roles we have seen Sai Pallavi play so far, Karu portrays her as a serious mother from what we see in the trailer.
After Premam, she was seen in Kali, Fidaa and Middle Class Abbayi is now running in theatres.
She has completed her Doctor degree in Georgia but destiny made her an actor. She wants to pursue both and she once mentioned that she wants to be a cardiologist.
After Karu, she has signed two big movies with Dhanush for Maari 2 and Suriya 36, directed by Selvaraghavan. Both the movies had their pooja yesterday and apparently Sai Pallavi was not seen in both the events. She was not part of Karu movie Pooja too.
Since fans are over excited to see her do straight Tamil movies, they are little disappointed that they couldn't see her. Not sure if this is a conscious decision by her or work kept her busy, but we wish the young actor a great career ahead and we wish that she signs more movies this year in Tamil.
