We had reported a few days back that Nayanthara’s Imaikkaa Nodigal was sent to the censor board with the film’s runtime being revealed to be around 2 hours and 50 minutes.
An Ajay Gnanamuthu directorial produced under the Cameo Films banner with music by Hiphop Tamizha, Imaikkaa Nodigal has now been given a ‘U/A’ certificate.

Furthermore, there are now reports stating the makers could be eyeing a new release date for the action thriller by getting the film out a day ahead on August 30 (Thursday) instead of the previously planned August 31 date.
Although an official statement is awaited on this Atharvaa, Raashi Khanna and Anurag Kashyap starrer’s release date, the present plan is to bring the film out in theatres in August for sure.
Imaikkaa Nodigal is indeed one of the most anticipated films coming out this year and also includes ‘Makkal Selvan’ Vijay Sethupathi in a vital extended cameo, which has fans quite excited.
