For a while now, speculations were rife that Dhanush's film under the Thenandal Studios Limited banner would be his second directorial after his Pa Paandi earlier this year. Now, we have an official word from the man himself.
Dhanush took to his Twitter page to make the announcement saying it would indeed be his second directorial and also his 37th film to feature him as the lead.

The partnership was also acknowledged by Thenandal Studios Limited CEO Hema Rukmani over her Twitter space.

Other cast and crew details are expected to be made known in the coming days for this yet to be titled film, which will reportedly flag off around August 2018.
This update now puts a rest to all those other rumors that stated the film would be helmed by Karthik Subbaraj. Looks like we will just have to wait for some more time for a word on that project.
