Vikram K. Kumar flooded with offers

Vikram K. Kumar, who directed Yaavarum Nalam, has struck gold. The Hindi version of this film, titled 13B, has been selected to be screened at the the Shanghai International Film Festival. In fact, the film is India's official entrythis year. The director is just getting ready to pack his bags to go to Shanghai with Madhavan. And Danny Boyle is expected to watch this film, as he heads the jury!

Currently Vikram has two stories in hand for which he is ready to start work; one of them happens to be a science fiction movie. He is very positive on that front since films like Kkrish have proved to be successful in India. He also firmly believes that the audience has the maturity to accept such concepts, and already has lot of ideas in place. Vikram has been flooded with offers after the success of 13B and Yaavarum Nalam.

The director plans to makehis nextfilm in Tamil and Hindi simultaneously. Vikram K. Kumar, along with Arun Vaidyanathan, Krishnan Seshadri Gomatam, Sasikumar and Ameer form the new breed of film makers who are creating waves with offbeat films. It looks like each director is up to something interesting and we just cannot afford to miss any of their films!

So, is he working on a sequel to Yaavarum Nalam by any chance?
