The recently-released Malayalam film Hridayam starring Pranav Mohanlal, Kalyani Priyadarshan and Darshana Rajendran in the lead roles is a coming-of-age film written and directed by Vineeth Srinivasan. Showcasing the emotional journey of Arun Neelakandan played by Pranav, the story revolves around his carefree bachelor days in an engineering college and how various incidents that happened in those four years shaped his personality, and how he matures through various phases of life. Hridayam has been well-received and is a big comeback for director Vineeth Srinivasan after his Jacobinte Gwargarajyam. The multi-talented filmmaker on Friday evening took to Twitter to express his excitement and gratitude after having legendary director, producer and writer Priyadarshan come in to watch the film. 

Tamil cinema fans will know Priyadarshan for his vast amount of work in Malayalam cinema, including his films in Bollywood in a career spanning over three decades. Best known for his comedy films, he has also dabbled in other genres like action thriller and period pieces, while also collaborating with National Award-winning Malayalam actor Mohanlal in 29 ventures together. Sharing a picture with the iconic Malayalam filmmaker, Vineeth wrote, "A Million dollar pic!!! Clicked when he came to see Hridayam today.. @priyadarshandir sir. This night I ll never forget. Thank you God for this life, for this beautiful profession that I am in!!" Below is his tweet: 

Produced jointly by Merryland Cinemas and Big Bang Entertainments banners, Hridayam also includes Aju Varghese, Arun Kurian, Johny Antony, Aswath Lal, Vijayaraghavan among others in pivotal roles, with music composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, cinematography by Viswajith Odukkathil and editing done by Ranjan Abraham. Hridayam is also credited for bringing back audio cassettes and limited edition vinyl records back to India, which director Vineeth along with music director Hesham shared along with executives of the audio label Think Music.
