Vignesh Shivan is one of the popular directors of the Tamil film industry who has made some hit films. He has directed Podaa Podi, Naanum Rowdy Thaan, Thaana Serndha Koottam and Kaathuvaakula Rendu Kaathal. The director has recently attended the Cannes International Film Festival that is happening in the French city of Cannes. He has been sharing some exciting photos from the film festival. Now, he has shared a picture with the Hollywood actor Tobey Maguire that has become viral on social media. Tobey Maguire would be known across India as he played Spiderman in the films that were released between 2002 to 2007. The director shared the photo with the caption “with you friendly neighbourhood Spiderman”. he further went on to say that he took the photo at the world premiere of the Hollywood film Killers of the Flower Moon. Both of them looked dapper in a coat and suit.

The photo has become viral on social media and many fans have also commented on dialogue from their favourite Spiderman films below the picture. Apart From Vignesh Shivan many Indian celebrities and South Indian celebrities had attended the prestigious film festival and shared pictures on Instagram. Popular director Anurag Kashyap shared a picture with Vignesh Shivan and Pradeep Ranganathan and stated he somehow always meets Vignesh Shivan in Canners and “This time joined by the wonder kids Pradeep Ranganathn in his first trip to the Cannes Festival, watching, talking, eating cinema." Vignesh Shivan shared the pictures in his story and said "two of my favourite directors and a couple of good crazy actors… starstruck”. Kennedy, a film directed by Anurag Kashyap, is also set to premiere at the film festival.
There was a huge buzz that the director Vignesh Shivan is set to work with Pradeep Ranganathan who made his acting debut in Love Today for his next film. The project is yet to be confirmed and the two directors were seen together at the Cannes film festival.
