The Zoya Factor is an upcoming Hindi film which has an out of the box storyline directed by Abhishek Sharma. The film is the adaptation of Anuja Chauhan's 2008 novel under the same title The Zoya Factor. The film stars Dulquer Salmaan and Sonam Kapoor in lead roles. The Zoya Factor features Sanjay Kapoor, Angad Bedi, Sikander Kher, Manu Rishi, Pooja Bhamrrah in important roles and Koel Purie, Pradhuman Singh, Saurabh Shukla and Rahul Khanna in supporting roles. The movie is produced by Pooja Shetty and Aarrti Shetty with the banner Fox Star Studies. The music of the film is composed by Shankar–Ehsaan–Loy while lyrics are written by Amitabh Bhattacharya.
The story of The Zoya Factor revolves around a girl, Zoya Solanki played by Sonam Kapoor, an executive in an advertising agency. When Zoya Solanki came into this world in 1983, the Indian Cricket Team had created history by winning the World Cup for the very first time. Zoya Solanki leads a normal life struggling with the smallest of things. And then happens the unthinkable as she ends up becoming a lucky charm for the Indian Cricket team during the 2011 Cricket World Cup. Dulquer Salman plays the role of Nikhil Khoda, the Indian Cricket Team captain and Zoya's love interest in the film.
