In a surprising turn of events, Thalapathy Vijay met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao earlier this evening and the pictures and videos from the meeting have surfaced on social media, taking the fans by happiness. According to reports, Vijay's meeting with K Chandrashekar Rao was a casual affair and there is nothing politically associated with it. Thalapathy 66 director Vamshi Paidipally accompanied Vijay in this meeting. Thalapathy Vijay is currently in Hyderabad shooting for his next film, Thalapathy 66, which is helmed by Vamshi Paidipally of Maharshi and Thozha fame.

Produced by Dil Raju under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, this film has music composed by Thaman S who is one of the most sought after composers in the South Indian film industry. Rashmika Mandanna will be seen playing the female lead in Thalapathy 66, marking her first association with Thalapathy Vijay and second outing in Tamil cinema after Karthi's Sulthan. Supreme Star Sarath Kumar plays a pivotal role in the film which also has Shaam, Yogi Babu, Sangitha Krish, Srikanth, and others. The second schedule shoot of Thalapathy 66 is happening in Hyderabad and details regarding the rest of the schedules are awaited.

Thalapathy 66 is scheduled for a grand theatrical release in Pongal 2022 and the fans are eagerly looking forward to witnessing the film.
