In an unexpected turn of events, the official YouTube channel of Dhanush's production house, Wunderbar Films was hacked by unknown people on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, much to the shock of the fans. The YouTube channel had several blockbuster hit videos including that of the 'Rowdy Baby' video song, which is South India's most viewed song video on YouTube. The trailer, songs, and video songs from Dhanush's (as a producer) other blockbuster hit films including the likes of Ethir Neechal, Velai Illa Pattathaari, Kaaki Sattai, Naanum Rowdy Dhaan, Thanga Magan, Kaala, were also part of the channel.

The channel, suddenly disappearing off the radar, came as a shock for the fans and the Wunderbar team informed that they are in touch with YouTube India to retrieve the videos and solve the issue. The good news has now arrived, a day after the hack happened. Wunderbar Films YouTube channel is now back and live with videos being restored one by one. In a matter of a few more days, the channel will gain back its fullest form with the same views. This development was confirmed by Wunderbar Films through an official tweet that read, "Our YouTube channel is back! Thank you @YouTubeIndia for the support. @dhanushkraja @theSreyas @RIAZtheboss https://youtube.com/c/wunderbarstudios".

This news has come as a big sigh of relief for all the fans out there, garnering wide attention on social media. Dhanush, on the acting front, has multiple interesting projects in his kitty. His International Hollywood film, The Gray Man, is currently in the post production stages, gearing up for a release on Netflix on July 22. In Tamil, Dhanush's next release will be Thiruchitrambalam, which is a multi-starrer featuring Nithya Menen, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Raashi Khanna as the female leads, alongside Prakash Raj and Bharathiraja in supporting roles.

Thiruchitrambalam is directed by Mithran Jawahar of Yaaradi Nee Mohini fame and has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, marking the reunion of the much-loved DnA combo.
