The youth sensation, who made his acting debut in Kumbalangi Nights, and followed it up with an impressive performance in the lead role in Thanneer Mathan Dinangal, is now a part of the upcoming Vijay-starrer being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.
Mathew Thomas, who is currently awaiting the release of his next big Malayalam film, Christy, opposite leading actress Malavika Mohanan, will be making his debut in Tamil cinema alongside Vijay under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction. The Thalapathy 67 cast update of Mathew Thomas is one of the several that have come out today among which also includes veteran actor Mansoor Ali Khan being announced to be a part of the film. Director Lokesh Kanagaraj had earlier revealed on several occasions that it would be a dream come true moment for him to collaborate with the iconic Tamil actor as he had initially written the character of Dilli in Kaithi for him, which was later played by Karthi. Thalapathy 67 is a reunion for Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj after their Master in 2021 and expectations for the film have been massive ever since it was revealed that the duo is teaming up. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music and he will be looking to come out all guns blazing to top his previous works in Vijay-starrers Kaththi, Master, and Beast.
