Galata Media organised a fans meet for actor Soori, where he interacted with his fans and shared interesting information about Viduthalai Part: 1. As the anchor asked about the five things that he learnt from the film. The actor Soori said “Firstly, I think I learnt to act well and I will also keep on learning (the skill). Secondly, I have learned to drive vehicles anywhere even in hilly regions. Because, we did not use body double. Normally, artists do not drive in every shot in hilly areas like this. Sometimes, how we will shoot is, there will be a huge truck and the car or auto rickshaw or jeep will be on top of the truck and the artist will act like he is driving. Sometimes, Just like normal the jeep will run, there will be an actor and there will be a driver just like the artist, who will drive the vehicle. Like this, a body double was there on set for me and the lorry was also there, but I don’t think we used him even once. I did every scene myself. But the director (Vetri Maaran) will ask If we could (opt for a body double) but, I would say I can. Similarly, a body double was there for the stunt sequence too. The stunt choreographer will do a rehearsal with the body double artist and then when I reach the set I will do every stunt during takes. The master (stunt choreographer) gave me that confidence, I did not use any body double in the film. I did every shot myself” revealed the actor
