Six releases this Friday
This weekend is really going to be very busy for cinema lovers with six releases: Saa Boo Thrii, Vaidhegi, Karagam, Thambivudayaan, Palaivana Cholai and Athey Neram Athey Idam.
Saa Boo Thrii marks the directorial debut of Arshad Khan with love as the theme. Music is by Abdul Rafiq, who earlier worked for A.R. Rahman. The interesting thing about this movie is that the director, producer and actors are all from the same college. Thambivudayaan, directed by Raja Mahesh, deals the with the�Cauvery river water dispute between Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. The film is finally releasing after facing many censor problems. Athey Neram Athey Idam, produced by Lakshmi Pictures, starring Jai and Vijaylakshmi of Chennai 600028 fame, is directed by M. Prabhu. Music of this romantic film is by Premji Amaran. Palaivana Cholai, a remake of the yesteryear blockbuster movie with the same title, is directed by Dayalan and stars Nitin Sathya and Karthika in lead roles.
