Sivakarthikeyan's Maaveeran is the actor-producer's next big film and is gearing up to be one of the biggest releases this year. Being directed by Madonne Ashwin of of Mandela fame, the upcoming film is touted to be an action entertainer that will appeal to audiences of all ages and is expected to be coming out in theatres this summer around May, as per reports. With a major chunk of production on Maaveeran already wrapped, the team on Saturday, February 25, hosted a special celebration for the film's producer Arun Viswa on the occasion of his birthday.
Arun Viswa, who is producing Maaveeran under his Shanthi Talkies banner, received wishes from the entire cast and crew of the film present during filming among whom also included the lead stars Sivakarthikeyan and actress Aditi Shankar, with popular choreographer Shobi master as well seen taking part in the celebrations. Maaveeran is the first big film of Sivakarthikeyan in 2023 and the actor will be looking to hit the bulls-eye considering his last release, Prince, received mixed reviews. Aditi Shankar too will want to carry the momentum from her debut film, Viruman, also released last year, which made her a youth sensation in which she was paired with Karthi. Promotions for Maaveeran kicked off a few days back after the first single track titled 'Scene Uh Scene Uh' was released as a big treat on the special occasion of Sivakarthikeyan's birthday.
