Leading actor-filmmaker Prabhu Deva's long-awaited film, Bagheera, is all set to open in cinemas on March 3 and promotionsfor the film have kicked off. Directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha illana Nayanthara fame, the upcoming film is billed to be a psycho-thriller and features a big female ensemble cast that includes Amyra Dastur, Remya Nambeesan, Janani, Sanchita Shetty, Gayathrie Shankar, Sakshi Agarwal, Sonia Agarwal, and Pragathi, while Sai Kumar and Nassar will be appearing in pivotal roles. With only a few days left for the Prabhu Deva-starrer to hit screens, the much-awaited second Bagheera trailer has now arrived and gives audiences a glimpse into the intriguing action that awaits them up ahead.
The Bagheera trailer starts off introducing Prabhu Deva as a womanizer, whose character is built around the likes of Kamal Haasan in Sigappu Rojakkal (1978) and Aalavandhan (2011), and Silambarasan TR in Manmadhan (2004), and shows him apparently killing women who betray in the name of love. We then see him romancing several women among whom include Amyra Dastur, Remya Nambeesan, Janani, Sanchita Shetty, and Gayathrie Shankar. This latest Bagheera trailer appeals largely to a younger audience and it remains to be seen how they respond to the film in theatres next month.
Produced by R. V. Bharathan and co-produced by S. V. R Ravi Shankar, Bagheera is being distributed in Tamil Nadu under their Bharathan Films banner and will showcase Prabhu Deva in several getups, which has been witnessed by fans in the promotional material unveiled so far. The film has music composed by by Ganesan S and also includes a talented technical team featuring the likes of cinematographers Selva Kumar SK and Abinandhan Ramanujam, editor Ruben, while Siva Yadav has done the art direction.
