Maaveeran is the next big film of actor Sivakarthikeyan that has Aditi Shankar playing the female lead. The actress gave an exclusive interview to Galatta Media recently ahead of the release of the film on July 14. During the interaction, the actress shared some exciting details about some fun moments during the making of the film and her upcoming projects. Speaking about some memorable moments between the actress and Sivakarthikeyan, Aditi Shankar replied as the actor had a long hair for his character in the film she asked him if it was his original hair. He asked her to pull and see and the actress pulled the hair that made the actor scream.

When asked about the look of Sivakarthikeyan in Maaveeran as it resembles ‘Superstar' Rajinikanth's look from Thalapathi, The actress said "it’s not like that. I think we have only seen SK sir, in a commercial and entertaining role But you wouldn't have seen SK sir like this." The actress then said performance-wise too personally, she felt the Prince actor has done a great job and she has not seen him in such a character in his previous films. “It will be a different experience for SK fans”, said the actress Aditi Shankar.
Speaking about her character in Maaveeran, Aditi Shankar said the director of the film Madonne Ashwin’s scenes will not have more characters in a scene if they are not required, likewise her character will travel with the story too. The actress then said “I play a journalist, intelligent well-read and I can’t reveal much anymore.” The leading pair of film, Aditi Shankar and Sivakarthikeyan, also sang a peppy romantic song for the film titled Vannarapettayile composed by Bharath Sankar.
