One of the biggest films in the history of Indian cinema, RRR, is getting ready for a massive worldwide release on January 7 and it will have a pan Indian release across the country. The film is directed by SS Rajamouli, the maverick filmmaker who weaved magic with movies like Naan Ee, Magadheera, Baahubali 1 & 2. Produced by DVV Entertainment, the film has Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the lead roles, alongside Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Shriya Saran, Samuthirakani, Ray Stevenson, Alison Doody, Olivia Morris, and others in pivotal roles.

The film is all set to be released on January 7 in five different languages - Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam. Last night (December 27), director SS Rajamouli, Jr NTR and Ram Charan flew down to Chennai for the pre-release event of RRR and the event happened at Chennai Trade Centre in a grand fashion. Sivakarthikeyan and Udhayanidhi Stalin were present at the event as the Chief Guests and both of them wished the entire team of RRR for a massive success. Sivakarthikeyan's presence at the RRR event garnered a wide attention on social media and some of his heartfelt gestures have won the hearts of the people already.

When the anchor of the event, RJ Vijay missed acknowledging a percussionist for his performance, Sivakarthikeyan signalled him through his gestures to compliment him. A video clipping of this moment has caught the attention of the netizens, turning viral on social media. Interestingly, RJ Vijay also thanked SK for the same on his Twitter page. Thanking Sivakarthikeyan for his gesture, RJ Vijay wrote, "As always loads to learn from u na Ur always a gem @Siva_Kartikeyan na".

On the acting front, Sivakarthikeyan's next release in Tamil cinema will be Don which is currently in the post production stages.
