Silambarasan TR's Vendhu Thanindhu Kaadu has touched the finish line with regard to shooting and the update has garnered wide attention on social media. The entire filming of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu has been completed and its director Gautham Vasudev Menon took to his official Twitter page to share the information. The update was shared along with a new poster which has gone viral among the fans. The poster features an angry Silambarasan TR holding a gun pointed toward someone. The poster looks raw and intense and has piqued our curiosity.

Sharing the new poster, Gautham Vasudev Menon tweeted, "Filming completed. Thank you! #VendhuThanindhathuKaadu @SilambarasanTR_ @arrahman @IshariKGanesh @SiddhiIdnani". The last schedule of Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu took place in Mumbai and the team is said to be elated with the way the film has shaped up. The team will now focus on the post production works on a full-fledged note and more updates are expected to arrive in the coming days. Produced by Ishari K Ganesh under the banner of Vels Film International, the film has music composed by the legendary A.R.Rahman, continuing his successful association with Gautham Menon and Silambarasan TR after Vinnaithaandi Varuvaayaa and Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada.

Rahman's musical score in the teaser was widely appreciated and the fans are eagerly looking forward to hearing the songs. Siddhi Idnani will be playing the female lead, essaying the character of 'Paavai', while Siddique, Neeraj Madhav, Radikaa Sarathkumar, and others play supporting roles. Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu will have cinematography handled by Sidhartha Nuni, while Anthony and Rajeevan have headed the editing and art direction departments respectively.

Now that VTK has been wrapped up, Simbu will very soon start shooting for Corona Kumar, directed by Gokul. Corona Kumar, which is touted to be an out and out comedy entertainer, will also be produced by Ishari K Ganesh's Vels Film International.
