Bigg Boss Ultimate, the ongoing edition of Bigg Boss Tamil, is currently underway and the show is being aired on the Disney Hotstar OTT platform on a 24/7 basis without any major cuts. This show which is exclusively available only on the said digital platform currently holds 9 contestants. The nine contestants who are inside the house include Thamarai Selvi, Niroop Nandakumar, Suruthi, Julie, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Anitha Sampath, Balaji Murugadoss, Dhaadie Bhalagie, and Snehan. A wildcard contestant is expected to enter the house this week.

Meanwhile, the Bigg Boss Ultimate underwent a massive change which has been the talk of the town since yesterday. Following Kamal Haasan's exit from the show due to his movie commitments, the makers announced that Silambarasan TR will take over as the host for the remaining episodes of Bigg Boss Ultimate and this development came as a big pleasant surprise for many. The fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing this new facet of Simbu and we can expect some interesting changes in the show. Having said that, Simbu seems to be excited about his new journey as the host of Bigg Boss Ultimate.

On the acting front, Silambarasan TR currently has three films in different stages of production - Vendhu Thanindhathu Kaadu, Pathu Thala, and Corona Kumar.
