SR Prabhu is one of the prominent producers in Tamil cinema who is known for bankrolling strong content-driven movies. Some of his best works include Maya, Maanagaram, Aruvi, Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Monster, etc. SR Prabhu and his brother SR Prakash Babu produce movies under two different banners, Dream Warrior Pictures, and Potential Studios. Prabhu's last release in Tamil was Karthi's Sulthan, which turned out to be a good success at the box office. Sulthan is one of the few box office hits of this year and it attracted a good amount of family audience. The film was directed by Bakkiyaraj Kannan and had Rashmika Mandanna playing the female lead.

Following the success of Sulthan, SR Prabhu's Dream Warrior Pictures is now all set to begin the promotions of their next film, Sharwa 30. Yes! Sharwa 30, as the tentative name suggests, features the young and promising Sharwanand in the lead role and it is going to be his 30th film. The movie is directed by debutant Shree Karthick who has earlier made a few popular short films and some advertisement films, as well. The title and first look poster of Sharwa 30 will be unveiled on June 28, Monday, evening at 5 PM on social media. The announcement was made by the makers, last night (June 25).

Sharwa 30 is a bilingual which has been shot in Tamil and Telugu. For the Tamil audience, Sharwanand is known for acting as one of the leads in Engeyum Eppodhum, which gave him a good breakthrough. Some of his other Tamil films include Kadhalna Summa Illai and JK Enum Nanbanin Vaazhkai. The shooting of Sharwa 30 has already been completed and the team is currently busy with the final leg of post-production works. Sharwa 30 will have Kannum Kannum Kollaiyadithaal fame Ritu Varma as the female lead, while the star cast also includes Amala Akkineni, Vennela Kishore, Priyadarshi, ad others.
