Prince Pictures has announced the title of its next film. The film titled Thandatti is going to be directed by Ram Sangaiah, with Pasupathy, Rohini, Vivek Prasanna, and Ammu Abhirami in the leading roles, while the cinematography is by Mahesh Muthuswamy, and the music is by KS Sundarasamy. Prince Pictures has released the first look poster for the film, which features actress Rohini sitting on a chair as a deceased person with Pasupathy as a police officer on one side and Vivek Prasanna on the other side. The Thandatti first look has gained traction on social media and fans have been sending the team their wishes for it to come out as a big success.

Fans are particularly excited to witness Pasupathy in yet another content-oriented film after his powerful performance in Sarpatta Parambarai, which saw him play the role of a boxing coach named Rangan, and is now one of the most iconic and memorable characters among Tamil cinema fans. Currently also starring in a pivotal role in 'Chiyaan' Vikram's Thangalaan being directed by Pa. Ranjith, Pasupathy as seen in the Thandatti poster gives us big confidence that it will be yet another interesting character for him in his career, which includes appearances in films like Virumaandi, Dhool, Thirupaachi, Kuselan, and Veyil to name a notable few.
Prince Pictures too will be looking to make it big with the Thandatti after tasting major box office with last year's Sardar starring Karthi and their recent RJ Balaji-starrer Run Baby Run, which has kicked off 2023 on a bright note. It is to be noted that the upcoming venture is their next big film after they recently announced new projects with Vadhandhi: The Fable of Velonie director Andrew Louis and Jiyen Krishnakumar, who is fresh off the success of Run Baby Run.
