'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo is being shot in Kashmir over the past few days under Lokesh Kanagaraj's direction and a few photos and videos from the shooting spot have now made their way online. In order to stop the pictures and videos coming out on social media, a statement has now been issued against piracy from the upcoming film's sets urging fans to not indulge in such leaks. To stop such leaks, the Leo team now with plans to work with Massbunk Antipiracy and have decided to take action to stop any footage from the sets of the film. Massbunk Antipiracy has officially tweeted, "Refrain from sharing the leaked pics/videos taken from the shooting spot of @actorvijay’s #Leo Aka #Thalapathy67. The infringing links will be removed immediately without any further warning!"

Although the recent leaks of the shooting spot videos might come as a short setback for the Leo team, the cast and crew will be feeling pumped up after the staggering response to the film's title announcement promo. Vijay will be seen sharing screen space with Trisha once again after more than a decade alongside a supporting cast featuring the likes of Gautham Vasudev Menon, Mysskin, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, Sandy Master among others, and also includes music by Anirudh Ravichander, while Manoj Paramahamsa is the cinematographer. Fans expect Vijay and Lokesh Kanagaraj to deliver a knockout with Leo as the film is scheduled for release on October 19 as a Pooja holidays treat.
Lokesh Kanagaraj has built the Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) connecting his earlier films, Kaithi and Vikram, and fans are now waiting to know whether Vijay in Leo too will be seen appearing alongside the characters of those ventures in the future. Whether this happens or not, social media has been a buzz with wild speculations and theories regarding the same and it will undoubtedly be a big blockbuster treat if Leo too is set in the LCU.
