Radio jockey turned actor-filmmaker RJ Balaji's first thriller film, Run Baby Run, which will see him starring alongside versatile actress Aishwarya Rajesh, has been announced to open in cinemas on February 3. Billed to be an "edgy thriller", the upcoming film directed by debutant Jiyen Krishnakumar under S Lakshman Kumar's blockbuster banner Prince Pictures has created quite a lot of curiosity among fans ever since it went on floors early last year and the promotional material released so far has only added to the excitement. Run Baby Run is both RJ Balaji and Aishwarya Rajesh's first film together and will be the first outing for each of them in 2023, and the duo will be hoping to kick off the year with a grand start.
Run Baby Run will see RJ Balaji and Aishwarya Rajesh sharing screen space alongside a talented supporting cast featuring the likes of legendary actress Radhika Sarathkumar, Mookuthi Amman fame Smruthi Venkat, and Meyaadha Maan actor Vivek Prasanna, Bagavathi Perumal, Hareesh Peradi, Tamizh among others in pivotal roles. The film is also an important venture for the production banner Prince Pictures after they hit the bullseye in 2022 with the Karthi-starrer Sardar, which went on to become a money-spinner at the box office. Promotions for Run Baby Run have already begun after the makers last week released the film's theme composed by Sam C. S., which also gave audiences the first glimpse of the film and teased plenty of intense moments, including RJ Balaji and Aishwarya Rajesh along with the rest of the cast battling a common conflict. Some other names in the film's technical team include S. Yuva and G. Madan for the cinematography and editing, followed by art director Veeramani Ganesan, sound designer Arun S Mani, stunt choreographer R. Sakthi Saravanan, lyricist Viveka, costumer Nandha, and costume designers Divya Nagarajan, Nikhita Niranjan among others.
