Ulkuthu directed by Caarthick Raju starring Dinesh and Nandita sweta changed release date from Dec 22 to 29.

Vishal's Irumbu Thirai also starring Arjun and Samantha changed release date from Jan 14 to 26.

Veera starring Krishna, Karunakaran and Mottai Rajendran changed dates from Dec 2 to 15 and opted out of release looking for a better date.

All this indicates is that with multiples releases, the producers are concerned about the number of screens they are getting and the release date plays a key role in the business of movies. Similar issues creeped up with Shankar's 2.0 expected in April and other producers who have scheduled their movies for summer vacation are not quiet happy.
