On April 14, 2022, Ranbir Kapoor got married to the love of his life, Alia Bhatt. Nearly 10 days after their wedding, Alia Bhatt resumed the shoot of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani while her husband, Ranbir Kapoor, has now commenced the shooting for Sandeep Reddy Vanga's directorial Animal today (April 22) which is backed by Bhushan Kumar and Pranav Reddy Vanga, the duo will be producing the film prestigiously on T-Series and Bhadrakali Pictures. The actor will be seen in the film with Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Anil Kapoor.

Ranbir Kapoor and Rashmika Mandanna received a warm welcome when they arrived in Manali this week to kick-start Sandeep Reddy Vanga's next film Animal. After delivering the highly successful Arjun Reddy with Vijay Deverakonda followed by the much bigger blockbuster with its Hindi remake Kabir Singh with Shahid Kapoor, he will now be collaborating for the first time with Ranbir Kapoor on this action entertainer.

Media and PR consultant Vamsi Kaka took to his Twitter handle to announce this new update regarding the film. Sharing an image of the film's clapboard, he wrote, "The Violence Begins at the PEAK India’s Much Anticipated &The Most Craziest Film by the Lethal Combo #RanbirKapoor & @imvangasandeep #ANIMAL Pooja Ceremony Done & Shoot begins today @ Himalayas #AnimalShootBegins @iamRashmika #BhushanKumar @VangaPictures @TSeries"

The first schedule of the film began in Manali after a pooja ceremony. Ranbir and Rashmika were welcomed with Himachali caps at the hills on their arrival. Ranbir Kapoor has supposedly undergone a makeover for the project and will reportedly feature in the film in a never before seen avatar.

Aside from this, Ranbir Kapoor has Shamshera lined up for release on 22 July 2022 in which he will be seen sharing the screen with Vaani Kapoor and Sanjay Dutt. After that, the actor's long awaited film, Brahmastra Part One: Shiva, will hit the screens on September 9. In this Ayan Mukerji film, Ranbir will be seen with his wife Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia as well as Mouni Roy. The actor also has an untitled film with Luv Ranjan in his kitty.
