The film is all set to hit the screens on 25 October 2022 during the festival of Diwali.

Earlier today, the makers of the film dropped the official trailer of the film and it is incredible and unlike anything we have ever seen before with a great mix of Hindu mythology and science fiction drama. The 2-minute and 9 seconds trailer begins with the government authorities ordering the Ram Setu to be destroyed. Akshay Kumar's character is called upon to solve the mystery of Ram Setu's existence, who later leads a team on this expedition. The trailer gives us a glimpse into the VFX and sci-fi scenes which is bound to hold the audience's attention.

Akshay Kumar stars as an atheist archaeologist turned believer who sets on a mission to unearth secrets of Ancient India and must race against time to prove the actual existence of the legendary Ram Setu aka Rama's Bridge (Adam's Bridge in English) before evil forces destroy the pillar of India’s heritage. The existence of this geological site lies deep within the Indian culture as the Hindu epic Ramayan says that Ram Setu was built by the god Rama's army of Vanara to reach Sri Lanka to rescue his wife Sita who was abducted by the Rakshasa king Ravana.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Kumar was last seen in the psychological crime thriller Cuttputli. Other than Ram Setu, the actor has a few other films in his kitty. They are - Selfiee, OMG 2 – Oh My God! 2, an untitled remake of the Tamil film Soorarai Pottru and Capsule Gill.
