The waves of romance has struck the right chord in Kollywood, in the form of debutant director Atlee's Raja Rani. The film is set for September 27 release and trade pundits have reported that this will be Arya's biggest release in his career. Raja Rani is the widest release ever for both Arya and Jai not only in Tamil nadu, but also in other markets including Kerala, Karnataka, Mumbai, Malaysia, and rest of the overseas markets.
After being the first ever Tamil film to do a horizontal roadblock of the trailer across 14 channels at the same time, Raja Rani is now doing a vertical roadblock on Radio Mirchi for 6 hours, during which only Raja Rani spots will be aired. Raja Rani starring Arya, Nayantara, Jai, Sathyaraj, Nazriya, Santhanam and Sathyan is produced by AR Murugadoss along with Fox Star Studios.
