Speaking on the 'Superstar' title controversy at Chandramukhi 2 trailer launch event in Chennai on Sunday, September 3, Raghava Lawrence asked, "Did Vijay sir ask for the 'Superstar' title? Did he make an announcement anywhere that he wants the title? Whenever I go meet Vijay sir, he always asks, 'How is Thalaivar and how is his health?' So, he has a profound and the deepest respect for him." He continued, "Similarly, 'Superstar' Rajini sir speaks highly of Beast even after he was told the film was just okay. He would say the film is superb and the collections are fantastic. He would say that the people at Sun TV told him the film had done well. So, there are no problems between them.
