Raghava Lawrence's Chandramukhi 2 also starring National Award-winning actress Kangana Ranaut is gearing up for a grand outing in theatres starting on September 15 ahead of Vinayagar Chathurthi and will be coming out as a pan-Indian release in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. Directed by iconic Tamil filmmaker P. Vasu under the blockbuster Lyca Productions banner and featuring music composed by Academy Award winner M. M. Keeravani, the upcoming film's promotions are underway as the much-awaited second single 'Moruniye' is now out and is a peppy foot-tapping number that once again puts the focus on Lawrence as he shows why he's one of the best dancers in the country.

Featuring vocals by S. P. Charan and Harika Narayan to the lyrics written by Vivek, 'Moruniye' in Chandramukhi 2 is a blend between fast beats and the Punjabi bhangra dhol featuring choreography by Baba Bhaskar, and will no doubt get everyone grooving along. The upcoming film touted to be a comedy horror venture also marks M. M. Keeravani's straight Tamil film comeback nearly two decades after he composed music for Sibiraj's debut Student Number 1 (2003). 'Moruniye' is the second single in Chandramukhi 2 after the 'Swagathaanjali' track was released a few days back to a rousing response, and fans look forward to M. M. Keeravani coming up with more memorable songs in the film along the lines of his 'Naatu Naatu' in S. S. Rajamouli's global hit, RRR, which won an Oscar Award for 'Best Original Song' earlier this year.

Raghava Lawrence and Kangana Ranaut will be seen sharing screen space in Chandramukhi 2 alongside an ensemble star cast that includes 'Vaigai Puyal' Vadivelu and Raadhika Sarathkumar, Lakshmi Menon, Mahima Nambiar, Srushti Dange, Rao Ramesh, Ravi Mariya, Suresh Menon, T. M. Karthik, Subiksha Krishnan, among others, with the technical team featuring the likes of cinematographer R. D. Rajasekar, art director Thota Tharani, and editor Anthony. The film's satellite rights have been acquired by the broadcasting giant Sun TV network, while the digital rights are with the leading streaming platform Netflix.
