Popular Tamil actress Nikki Galrani has been robbed of valuables and dresses worth Rs 1.2 Lakhs and the incident has garnered wide buzz among the people. According to reports, Nikki Galrani found her house help, a 19 year old youth named Dhanush, escaping from her luxury apartment in Chennai, with a bag. On January 11, Nikki is said to have seen him escape with a bag full of valuables. Reportedly, the Darling actress later found her camera worth Rs. 40000, some of her dresses, and valuable items missing. Following that, she filed a complaint with the police who have now nabbed Dhanush at Tiruppur.

On Monday, January 17, the Police reportedly arrested Dhanush at Tiruppur and they have seized a dog hair removal machine, a few clothes of Nikki from his house in Virudachalam. It is said that Dhanush has been working in Nikki Galrani's house for the last five months. Additional reports also suggest that a man named Chelladurai has lodged a complaint against Nikki Galrani, insisting her to be present for the inquiry. More details on the case are awaited.
