The wait has finally ended for ‘Thala’ Ajith fans across the world as the superstar’s Nerkonda Paarvai has released today and has taken a stunning opening everywhere. Produced by Boney Kapoor’s Bayview Projects LLP, director H. Vinoth has helmed the courtroom drama, which has hit songs by Yuvan Shankar Raja and is incidentally the official remake of Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu starrer, Pink, in Hindi. With the film now out, fans and many reputed people from the Tamil film industry thronged the theatres early in the morning to catch ‘Thala’ in action. Among them, director Siva, who has worked with Ajith in four consecutive films - Veeram, Vedalam, Vivegam and Viswasam - too had participated in the Nerkonda Paarvai early morning screening after which he gave a short one word review for the film saying it is just “super”.
Ajith plays the role of a middle-aged lawyer named Bharath Subramanian in Nerkonda Paarvai, which has a runtime standing at 2 hours and 38 minutes and is 22 minutes more than the original Hindi version, which stood at 2 hours and 16 minutes. Nerkonda Paarvai also stars Shraddha Srinath, Rangaraj Pandey, Adhik Ravichandran, Arjun Chidambaram, Abhirami Venkatachalam, Andrea Tariang, Aswin Rao, Sujith Shankar in vital supporting roles along with Vidya Balan making a cameo.
