Murugadoss' Suriya starrer begins in June
After their combo in the super hit 2005 psychological thriller Ghajini (Tamil), reigning South Indian actor Suriya and talented director Murugadoss are back! This time, the duo is planning to make a bilingual to be made in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi with actress-singer Shruti Haasan in the lead, marking her Tamil debut as an actress.
The shooting of this untitled film, produced by Udayanidhi Stalin under the banner of Red Giant Movies, is expected to begin in the first week of June and the buzz is that one of the songs will be canned in China. It is likely to be a big budget action adventure.
Meanwhile, Suriya is now all geared up for his Hindi debut with Rama Gopal Varma's Rakta Charitra. His next Tamil flick Singam, directed by Hari, is all set to grace theatres on May 28. In this flick, Suriya plays a cop after a long time and Anushka plays the female lead.
