After nearly a year of being under lockdown due to the COVID-19 Novel Corona Virus Pandemic, things are slowly returning to normalcy. Post this extended break, theatres were reopened with 50% occupancy, giving cinema lovers a chance to experience their favourite idols on the big screens. Recently, the Central Government also allowed the increase in the theatre capacity. The recently released Thalapathy Vijay starrer Master, is being celebrated as the cause of the revivial for theatres and Cinema, in general. A number of movies are now hitting the screens, following an increase in footfalls and just earlier today, Sibi Sathyaraj's Kabadadhaari hit the screens and is being hailed as a hit. However, a complete theatrical experience would only be complete with the watching of a 3D movie and here it is in the offing!

The first 3D movie to be hitting the theatres after the COVID-19 Corona Virus Pandemic, would be the highly anticipated fantasy Monster Hunter! This movie, starring Milla Jovovich and the world-renowned martial arts exponent and actor Tony Jaa, would be hitting the screens on February 5th! This first big Hollywood release of the year is based on the popular video game franchise of the same name. Based on the story of two different heroes from various backgrounds, uniting to battle a common enemy - monsters on Earth, Monster Hunter will also be available in 3D. Monster Hunter is directed by Milla Jovovich's husband - Paul Anderson and this will mark their 5th collaboration together!

Monster Hunter will also be releasing in IMAX and the makers reassure that this spectacle should only be viewed in theatres to get the complete experience! With a runtime of 104 minutes, Monster Hunter is sure to be a visual spectacle packed with action. The makers tell that about 80% of the movie has been shot with real actors and only 20% has been shot using graphics, that too only the monster portions!
