Leading actor-producer Vishal's latest film Mark Antony has taken a stellar opening in theatres and is getting a massive response from audiences everywhere. The time travel mass entertainer directed by Adhik Ravichandran of Trisha Illana Nayanthara (2015) fame under S. Vinod Kumar's Mini Studio banner also stars SJ Suryah, Suneel, Selvaraghavan, Ritu Varma, Abhinaya, Redin Kingsley, Y. G. Mahendran, among others and features music composed by National Award winner G. V. Prakash Kumar. With Mark Antony off to a flying start, Vishal on Saturday, September 16, posted a video on X thanking the audiences for showing their appreciation towards the film.

Vishal said, "Greetings to all. You all know Mark Antony was released worldwide yesterday September 15 across all languages. I feel that it is my duty to register this. Of course, everybody will say that they have worked hard, but on Friday, without the blessings of the Gods in front of me (the audience) and the Almighty above, no film has triumphed." He added, "When I hear that Mark Antony is such a big blockbuster and when you shower us with appreciation, not only me but everyone associated with the film, the actors and actresses, including Adhik's direction, it makes me happy. Thank you so much. I believe you'll feel happy about the money you spent watching the film. Thank you to the audiences in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh & Telangana, and overseas. I thank the people of Tamil Nadu for your love and will keep this victory in mind and make more good films in the future."
Continuing to extend his gratitude, Vishal stated, "And, most importantly, many friends came and extended their support on social media, including actors Karthi, Simbu, directors Venkat Prabhu, Karthik Subbaraj, and everyone. I apologize if I'm forgetting any names. All of them have shown us their appreciation from the bottom of their heart. When I see so much love from the fans and the people in the industry, it is heartwarming since this film is the result of hard work for more than a year. I will definitely sleep peacefully tonight." Concluding his statement, the actor said, "And, as I promised earlier, every rupee from the earnings of each ticket will be donated to the farmers on your behalf. I wish you all to be happy. Thank you."
