'Thalapathy' Vijay's Leo first look poster is the talk of the town and fans of the Tamil superstar cannot stop showering their love after witnessing him in peak action mode in the latest fierce glimpse. The poster has taken social media by storm creating a new record by crossing 100,000 likes in just 12 minutes on Twitter. This is a new record for a Vijay film's first look poster and once again establishes him to be a powerful brand, while also showing how excited fans are for Leo being directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj.

This latest mark by the Leo first look poster has also surpassed the same record set previously for a Vijay film poster among which include Beast (2022), Varisu (2023), Master (2021), and Bigil (2019). While the Leo first look poster crossed 100,000 likes in 12 minutes, the Beast first look released on Vijay's birthday in 2021 reached those exact numbers on Twitter in 15 minutes. Likewise, the Varisu first look poster released on June 21, 2022, registered 100,000 likes in 17 minutes on the micro-blogging social media platform, with the Master first look poster released ahead of the 2020 New Year celebrations reportedly hitting the mark in 51 minutes, and the Bigil first look unveiled as a birthday treat and featuring Vijay in dual roles as father and son reaching the target in 80 minutes.
The response to the Leo first look poster once again has proven that Vijay's popularity continues to keep growing and also emphasizes how much excitement there is surrounding the film, which is also the second collaboration for the superstar with Lokesh Kanagaraj after their Master. Produced under S. S. Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner and featuring music by Anirudh Ravichander, the upcoming film is scheduled to open in theatres on October 19 ahead of the Ayudha pooja holidays. Leo will see Vijay sharing the screen with several big names starting with Trisha, who is playing the female lead and is their reunion after 15 years when they starred in the 2000s in films like Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). The gangster drama also has Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, while 'Action King' Arjun, Gautham Menon, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Priya Anand, Sandy master, Mathew Thomas among others appear in pivotal roles.
