The big day is here and the wait has officially come to an end as the highly-anticipated Leo first look poster is now out on the special occasion of 'Thalapathy' Vijay's birthday. Celebrating his 49th birthday, the Tamil superstar's fans are in a celebratory mood with the first look of his upcoming film finally being unveiled by producer S. S. Lalit Kumar's 7 Screen Studio banner. The Leo first look poster out on Vijay's birthday today comes after the title announcement video released back in February gave audiences a glimpse at the actor, the look he is sporting for his role, and the big action awaiting everyone in theatres when the film arrives on October 19 ahead of the Ayudha pooja holidays.
The Leo first look poster is set amidst the mountainous landscape of Kashmir where the first schedule of the film was shot from January to March and shows Vijay in kill-and-hunt mode. This latest action-packed glimpse has the actor holding a sledgehammer covered in blood stains as we witness a bloody scene around him. Vijay is seen accompanied by what appears to be a hyena as he whacks a person off his feet with the sledgehammer, whose teeth are revealed to be knocked out and in mid-air. The Leo first look poster also carries a message, more of a statement, per se, that reads as follows: "IN THE WORLD OF UNTAMED RIVERS, CALM WATERS EITHER BECOME DIVINE GODS OR DREADED DEMONS", thus hinting at Vijay's dual character shades or alter ego in the film.
The Leo first look once again assures the film is going to be loaded with stunning action and Vijay's latest aggressive look is no doubt set to be the talk of the town on his birthday today and in the days ahead too. It is to be noted that this latest glimpse depicts 'Thalapathy' amidst a snowy, wintery, and icy backdrop just as hinted by Lokesh Kanagaraj yesterday in his announcement with an ice cube emoji. However, the same announcement also carried a fire emoji, which raises the question if there will be another 'bloody sweet' surprise from the team in the form of the Leo second look poster later in the day, which we will have to wait and see.

Leo has Vijay reuniting with Trisha once again after 15 years and fans are ready to witness them rule cinemas just like they did back in the 2000s in their previous collaborations Ghilli (2004), Thirupaachi (2005), Aathi (2006), and Kuruvi (2008). The film will see both the leading Tamil cinema stars sharing the screen alongside an ensemble star cast that includes Bollywood superstar Sanjay Dutt as the antagonist, with Arjun, Mysskin, Mansoor Ali Khan, Gautham Menon, Priya Anand, Mathew Thomas, Sandy master among others set to appear in key roles.
