It's official - the much-awaited Lal Salaam teaser will be released on Sunday, November 12, at 10:45 a.m, as a grand Diwali treat, the team of the highly-anticipated Tamil sports drama film has announced. Sharing a special poster featuring a glimpse of 'Superstar' Rajinikanth as Moideen bhai, the teaser announcement has come along with the runtime details, with the team informing that the 'preface' is set at 1 minute and 34 seconds, and will also be coming out in Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada languages. 

Along with the teaser announcement, the Lal Salaam team on Friday, November 10, has once again confirmed the film's theatrical release plans stating that the Aishwarya Rajinikanth directorial is set to open in cinemas worldwide for Pongal in January 2024. The team posted on X, "Adding a spark ✨ to your Diwali celebration 🪔 with an exciting announcement!💥  Get ready for a 1min 34secs preface of #LalSalaam 🫡 releasing this Sunday, Nov 12 at 10:45AM ⏳  In Cinemas 📽️ PONGAL 2024 Worldwide ☀️🌾 Releasing in Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam & Kannada! #LalSalaamFromPongal #MoideenBhaiArrivesOnPongal" (sic) This latest update has come as a big clarification for the fans after there were rumors and speculations over the past week stating that the film's release was getting postponed. The Lal Salaam team's latest announcement ahead of Diwali will now no doubt leave Rajinikanth's fans mighty happy adding more joy to their celebrations. 

Aishwarya Rajinikanth's Lal Salaam will see 'Superstar' Rajinikanth appearing in an extended cameo, while Vishnu Vishal and Vikranth are playing the lead roles. Billed to be a cricket-based film, India's 1983 World Cup-winning captain and legendary Indian cricketer Kapil Dev will also be making an appearance in scenes alongside Rajinikanth, while Academy Award-winning composer A. R. Rahman is composing the songs and the background score. Lal Salaam is also an important film for Aishwarya Rajinikanth, who is making a big comeback to filmmaking after her previous ventures, 3 (2012), Vai Raja Vai (2015), and the documentary Cinema Veeran (2017).
