Popular Malayalam actress Chandra Lakshman and her actor husband Tosh Christy are now proud parents to a baby boy, their first child. The couple made the big announcement on Saturday, October 29, along with a photo of their newborn, which shows them holding the baby's hand together. Sharing the picture on social media, Chandra wrote in the caption: "It's a BOY..👶😘😘 Thanking God,our parents and well wishers, our Doctors and staffs for all the love,blessings and loads of prayers for us and our lil one..🥰🤩 #moongirl #blessed #ourlittlewonder #itsaboy #thankgod". Chandra Lakshman and Tosh Christy tied the knot in an intimate wedding at Kochi in November 2021. The couple first met during the shooting of the Malayalam serial Swantham Sujatha after which they made their relationship official last August. Chandra announced on social media, "YES! That's what we said..As we embark on a new journey with the consent and blessings of our families,we wanted to include you,our wellwishers,in our happiness. Putting an end to all the endless questions about my marriage. Bless us and keep us in your prayers..Shall keep you all posted." 

Having made her acting debut in the Srikanth and Trisha-starrer Manasellam in Tamil, Chandra Lakshman later made appearances in films like April Maadhathil, Aadhikkam, and Thillalangadi to name a notable few. The actress garnered fame after starring in the Sun TV serial Kolangal, while also later appearing in shows like Magal, Sondha Bandham, and Pasamalar on the same network. Chandra's popularity soared further upwards after she was cast in the Vijay TV show Kadhalikka Neramillai, while also being seen in Jodi Number One. She is currently playing the lead role in the Malayalam show, Swantham Sujatha, alongside Kishor Satya, with Tosh Christy cast as an advocate named Adam John.
