KGF: Chapter 2 is continuing its monstrous run in theatres as the mass period action film starring 'Rocking Star' Yash under Prashanth Neel's direction has destroyed several box office records. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur's Hombale Films, the Kannada film has been released as a pan-Indian venture in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu, and Malayalam across 10,000 screens worldwide collecting Rs. 240 crores in gross in India alone in the first two days itself. That being said, the team surprised fans towards the end of KGF 2 with a post-credits scene that carried the revelation of KGF: Chapter 3. The subtle nod left fans everywhere mighty excited, with KGF executive producer Karthik Gowda in a recent interview with a Kannada news channel revealing that the team has begun pre-production works on KGF 3 while stating that more details will be revealed soon.
KGF executive producer Karthik Gowda's positive declaration will leave many jubilant considering many were not expecting the third installment. It now remains to be seen when the official announcement for KGF: Chapter 3 will come out as the makers had teased Yash's Rocky Bhai character heading to international shores towards the end of KGF 2. Hombale Films' Vijay Kiragandur had earlier in an interview with Firstpost spoke about expanding the KGF franchise and said, "We have plans to do a few more chapters. I think it will get bigger and better."
