Sarath Babu was a popular actor who passes away due to a health-related issues on 22nd May, today. It is said that the actor was ailing from multiple organ failure and had died despite treatment in a private hospital In Hyderabad. The actor has been a part of over 70 films over the years in multiple languages including Tamil and Telugu. He had acted as lead and supporting actor in multiple films with leading actors including 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan and ‘Superstar Rajinikanth. Apart from the big screen, the late actor has also acted in some soap operas.
Many fans and celebrities have shared condolences on the demise of the actor Sarath Babu. 'Ulaganayagan' Kamal Haasan has now shared a heartfelt statement paying his tribute to the actor. Kamal Haasan said “Popular actor and my good friend Sarath Babu has passed away. I am now reminded of the days that I spend with him. He was introduced in Tamil by my Guru. He acted well in many characters that will stand the sands of time. Cinema has lost a good actor. My condolences to him.” The two stars have acted in many film together in Tamil and Telugu including Sattam, Aalavandhan, Salangai Oli, Swathi Muthyam, etc.

As the actor died in a hospital in Hyderabad, some reports have stated that the body of the actor Sharath Babu will be shifted to Chennai and the final Cremation will take place tomorrow.
