Venkat Prabhu boards Thalapathy 68 with Vijay after Mankatha with Ajith Kumar - here's the full list of other directors who worked with both the superstars

A recent announcement that Venkat Prabhu will direct the next film of actor Vijay tentatively titled Thalapathy 68 was the talk of the town. The film will be the 25th venture of one of the leading production houses AGS Entertainment and will have music composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja. This is the 12th film of the director Venkat Prabu who he made many hit from his debut Chennai 600028 and the latest film that was released featuring Naga Chaitanya titled Custody.  He also made a film with the star actor Ajith Kumar which became a huge hit titled Mankatha. He is one of the few directors who has made films with Ajith and Vijay. Here is a list of all the other directors:

Janaki Soundar 

Janaki Soundar is the wonky director who has made a film that has both stars 'Thalapathy' Vijay and Ajith Kumar. The film titled Rajavin Parvaiyile features both actors and was released in 1995.

A.R. Murugadoss

Popular director A.R Murugadoss made his directorial debut with the Ajith Kumar starrer film Dheena. The film gave the identity to the actor as Thala. The director worked with Vijay thrice for the films Thuppakki, Kaththi and Sarkar.

S.J. Suryah.

The director made back-to-back films with Thalapathy and AK. He made Vaali with Ajith Kumar and his next film Kushi was released the next year with Vijay.

K.S.Ravikumar

Director K.S. Ravikumar is one of the leading directors who is known for making interesting entertainers. The next director made the hit film titles Minsara Kanna with 'Thalapathy' Vijay. He then worlds with the actor Ajith Kumar of the film mammoth film Varalaru.

Ezhil

Ezhil is another director who made romantic drama films with the two actors. He made his debut with the Vijay Starrer film Thulladha Manamum Thullum, which is still rewatched by many. He then directed Ajith in the films Poovellam Un Vaasam and Raja

Perarasu

He is known for making commercial entertainers with exciting punch lines. He made two films starring 'Thalapathy' Vijay as lead Thirupaachi and Sivakasi. And his immediate next film was with actor Ajith in the film Thirupathi.
