Suriya's upcoming bigge titled Kaappaan is director KV Anand and the film is one of the most awaited projects of this year. Kaappaan is the third time Suriya and KV Anand are collaborating after their previous films, Ayan and Maattrraan. Kaappaan has a huge star cast that has names like Mohanlal, Sayyeshaa, Arya, Samuthirakani, Shamna Kasim, Boman Irani, Chirag Dani among others and Suriya will be seen as an NSG Commando officer in the movie. The action thriller film is produced by Lyca Productions and has music of Harris Jayaraj.
The audio launch of Kaappaan happened in style with the presence of Superstar Rajinikanth and director Shankar gracing the occasion. The album of Kaappaan has been received well by fans with the folk number Siriki from Harris Jayaraj being the top one. Based on Suriya's fan base in Tollywood, Kaappaan will also be dubbed in Telugu under the title Bandobast and the team has now released the Telugu version of Siriki. The track titled Seruka is sung by Senthil Dass, Senthil Ganesh and Ramani Ammal. Lyrics for the song is penned by Chandrabose.
