Jagadguru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba in progress

Renowned director G. Ramakrishna's devotional flick Jagadguru Sri Shirdi Sai Baba, based on the life of Shirdi Sai Baba (1835-1918), is currently progressing at five different sets of Shirdi village, erected in Jubilee Hills. Set to be completed in three schedules, the film is produced by B.V. Reddy under the banner of SRR Creations banner. Notably, producer B.V. Reddy is cast in the title role as Sri Shirdi Sai Baba.

The film was�launched in Hyderabad on February 12. Mohan Babu sounded the clapboard for the first shot; chief guest Home Minister K. Jana Reddy switched on the camera. Director B. Gopal was also present on the occasion.

The film has seven songs by music director Lalit Suresh. Nagababu, Suman, Sivakrishna, Brahmaji, Narayana Rao, Raghunatha Reddy, Ramireddy, Kota Sankara Rao, Satya Reddy, Srinivasa Reddy, Gundu Hanumanta Rao, Hemasundar, Chittibabu, Sarika Ramachandra Rao, Siva Satyanarayana Sivaparvathi, Ramaprabha, Indrani, Divya Reddy and others are in the cast.

Dialogues are by Kommanapalli Ganapati Rao, lyrics are by Ashok Teja, Gurucharan and Parimi Ramanarasimham. Srinivasa Reddy handles the�camera, while editing is by Menaga Sreenu. Story and screenplay are by the director himself.
