G.V. Prakash Kumar is a national award-winning music composer who made his debut with the film Veyil which was directed by Vasantha Balan. He then gave many hit albums with leading directors and actors and has given many hit numbers. The next film of the music composer that is set to release in theatres is Aneethi which has Arjun Das and Dushara Vijayan in the lead roles. During an event for the film, The music composer first thanked the director of Aneethi, Vasantha Balan for trusting him and giving him a chance 17 years ago. He said, “Thank you for trusting me and I am always grateful. Now, I have come close to 100 films, Next year my 100th film as a composer, which will be directed by Sudha Kongara will be released, so next year it will release.”
This confirms that the 100th project of the musical composer will be directed by Sudha Kongara and the actor has also hinted a project in a recent tweet. It is speculated that the film would be the next project of actor Suriya after Kanguva. But, it is yet to be officially announced but the director and music composer are also working together on the Hindi remake of Soorarai Pottru, currently.
G.V. Prakash Kumar then went on to speak about that director of Aneethi, saying Vasantha Balan is one the directors who could take films to an international arena and that he had also done that in his previous films Veyil. The music composer then said Aneethi will be a musical album that he hopes will be enjoyed by many. He added that were many songs and listed some of the songs that became hits during his collaboration with the director including Veyilodu Vilayaadi from Veyil. The music composer then said “My favourite song from the album was sung by Heshan Abdul Wahad and Ravi G". Aneethi is to release in theatres on 21st July.
