Blockbuster music director Harris Jayaraj and lyricist Thamarai are reuniting with iconic singer Hariharan for a new song in the upcoming 'Chiyaan' Vikram-starrer Dhruva Natchathiram. The news was announced by the acclaimed singer, who took to social media to share a photo of the trio at work from the recording studio where they are packing in quite a musical treat in the highly-anticipated Gautham Vasudev Menon directorial. Hariharan wrote on Instagram, "Working on a new song with the music director Harris and lyricst Thamarai!😉 Movie: Dhruva Natchathiram Director: Gautam Vasudev Menon Starring: Vikram (sic)".
Hariharan is reuniting with Harris Jayaraj and Thamarai once again after a four-year gap when he last sang the hit 'Anangae Sinungalama' in Karthi's Dev (2019). It is to be noted that the celebrated singer had last sung the 'Yaarayum Velgira' song composed by James Vasanthan for the Tamil film Ariyavan earlier this year, while also being a part of A. R. Rahman's 'PS Anthem' in the Telugu version of Ponniyin Selvan: 2. Hariharan has been a part of a number of Tamil songs that continue to be celebrated and his voice for the new track in Vikram's Dhruva Natchathiram will undoubtedly big a highlight of the film, which already includes the chart-topping 'Oru Manam' sung by Shashaa Tirupati and Karthik. It is to be noted that the Hariharan's song is set to come out next after the stellar response to the foot-tapping Dhruva Natchathiram second single 'His Name is John' sung by the up-and-coming rapper 'Paal Dabba' Anish.
As for Dhruva Natchathiram's release, the delay has been a long one indeed as filming wrapped up in 2022 after production went on floors nearly six years ago. Despite multiple release delays, the excitement and the buzz surrounding the espionage action thriller hasn't fizzled as the response to the 'His Name is John' song is once again a clear testimony. Produced by Ondraga Entertainment in association with Oruoorileoru Film House, the Dhruva Natchathiram release date is expected to be announced soon after a final call by Vikram, Gautham Menon, and the team in the days ahead. The film also stars Ritu Varma as the female lead, while Simran, Parthiban, Raadhika Sarathkumar, Dhivyadharshini, Vinayakan, Arjun Das, Vamsi Krishna, Sathish Krishnan, Munna Simon, Salim Baig, and Maya S. Krishnan will be seen in key roles.
