Popular Tamil actor Kavin shared a heart-warming statement on Tuesday evening, February 21, after two-time National Award winner Dhanush called and extended his wishes for the grand success of his latest film, Dada. Revealing how it took him to some time to come to terms of his conversation with Dhanush, Kavin explained it was not possible for him to convey his gratitude with a simple "thank you" to the leading Tamil actor for the words of love he had shared over their phone call. Kavin further went on to wish Dhanush for his latest release, Vaathi, which came out last week, while also reminiscing about how he has enjoyed watching all his movies on the big screen and being amazed by his acting skills.

Sharing a note explaining his conversation with Dhanush, Kavin wrote in his statement:

My mind had to take a few seconds to process if whatever I heard was true. Reality is I'm yet to come out of that flash and here I'm typing this...
Indeed a surreal moment receiving a call from Dhanush sir after watching Dada. I remember watching all your movies on screen, being amazed and awestruck by your outstanding talent. And today, receiving a call from you can't be summed up by a simple thank you. Huge respect to you, sir for appreciating budding actors.

Dhanush is the latest top Tamil cinema celebrity to shower praises on Dada after filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj, who too a few days back shared his appreciation for the film on his social media handle. The coming-of-age romantic drama film sees Kavin sharing screen space with youth sensation and Malayalam actress Aparna Das, and has been directed by debutant Ganesh K Babu under S Ambeth Kumar's Olympia Movies banner. Dada distributed in Tamil Nadu by Red Giant Movies has turned out to be a phenomenal critical and commercial success and is en route to becoming a major box office blockbuster.
