Vijay Sethupathi's third production venture and second project as a writer is titled Chennai Palani Mars and the film is directed by Biju. Biju had earlier directed Orange Mittai with Vijay Sethupathi. Chennai Palani Mars is said to star new talents as lead actors and the cast has the names Praveen Raja, Rajesh Giriprasad, A.Ravikumar, Madankumar Dakshinamoorthy, Paari Elavazhagan, Vasant Marimuthu, S Imthias Mohamed, Vin Haadri, R Krishnamoorthy, KA Manigandan and Allwin. Apart from directing it, Biju also happens to be the cinematographer and editor of the film. The film will be coming out this Friday (July 26th).
The first look poster of this film was launched by Vijay Sethupathi on May 22nd and was followed by an interesting teaser a few weeks back. And now, the makers have released a new promo video from the film. The promo is kind of interesting as it begins with the dialogue ' Simbu CM aana epdi irukum?' and followed by a couple of similar questions. The promo has begun to make rounds on social media.
