Popular model Gayathri Reddy made her debut as an actor with Thalapathy Vijay's Bigil and she played one of the women football players in the film. She played the role of 'Maari' and she got a notable recognition with that film. Having said that, the budding actress interacted with her followers on Instagram and during the interaction, she revealed her next film after Bigil. Yes, Gayathri Reddy will be seen in an important role in Bigg Boss star Kavin's next outing, Lift, that features Amritha Aiyer as the female lead.

Both Amritha and Gayathri acted together in Bigil and the duo will now share screen space once again in Lift. When fans asked about her role in Lift, Gayathri said that she cannot reveal anything about it and added that it is a top secret. Sharing her experience working in the film, Gayathri said director Vineeth Varaprasad was an amazing person to work with.

She was also all praise for Kavin and said that he has a huge heart. This new update has excited the fans and it looks like Gayathri is indeed playing a significant role in Lift. This movie is directed by debutant Vineeth Varaprasad (popular ad filmmaker) and produced by Hepzi under the banner of Ekaa Entertainment. On the technical front, Lift will have music scored by Britto Michael, cinematography by S Yuva, and editing by G Madan.

As the title suggests, the film will reportedly deal with the story of Kavin and Amritha who get locked inside a lift. Kavin has got a phenomenal fan base on social media after his participation in the third season of Bigg Boss and having said that, we can expect Lift to have a good reception among the fans. Similarly, Amritha also enjoys a good fan following, thanks to her impressive performance as Thendral in Bigil.

The shooting of Lift was wrapped up a few days before the lockdown and the makers are currently focussing on the post-production works. The film is touted to hit the screens when the theatres reopen after the pandemic.
