According to reports, Cook with Comali 2 fame choreographer Baba Bhaskar master will soon take an acting avatar in the television series Ninaithal Inikkum. The dance master is set to play a character named Maari in the serial that’s being telecast in Zee Tamil and its said to be a cameo. A promo for the upcoming episode that features him has gone viral. The promo shows Baba Bhaskar coming with a mass entry amidst a scuffle that happens in the wedding of the lead couple. This entry of the choreography into the show was unexpected as he has not explored acting in any TV shows so far and has done one small cameo roles a handful of films.The energetic choreographer will play the role an anti-hero role who is trying to save the female lead and it will spice up the show.
The series revolves around the love story of an innocent girl and a rich guy. The serial is a Tamil remake of the popular Bengali soap Mithai. Swathi Sharma and Anand Selvan play the leading roles in the series with an ensemble of cast that including Suresh Krishnamurthy, Hema Srikanth, Bala Subramanian, Deepa Nethran, Arvind Kathare and Neela Menon. Its directed by N. Priyan.
The energetic dancer made his debut in 2006 film Thiruvilaiyadal Aarambam, choreographing a mass number for his school mate friend actor Dhanush. After choreographing many celebrated dance numbers in Tamil and Telugu, Baba Bhaskar made his first directorial venture with the film Kuppathu Raja starring GV Prakash. He also participated in the reality TV Show Bigg Boss 3 Telugu and won the third place. He has been a judge in many reality shows in Tamil and Telugu and became a recognized figure with the hit TV show of Vijay TV Cook With Comali. He has also won Filmfare, SIIMA and other awards.
