Recently a section of the media reported that Amala Paul may star opposite Jayam Ravi in Boologam, directed by Kalyana Krishnan (former associate of S.P. Jananathan). However the actress has now denied such reports and also clarified that due to date problems she unlikely to take up the project.
Kalyana Krishnan has earlier penned the screenplay of Iyarkai, Ee and Peranmai while working with S.P. Jananathan. Boologam will be produced by Aascar films and Kalyana Krishnan will handle the story, screenplay and direction. The film is based on the life of a boxer and is inspired by Asian boxing champion Madhan. Jayam Ravi is currently undergoing vigorous training to sport a new look in the film.
